Not all our clients have half a bazillion dollars to try and improve their business. In fact, we haven’t met a client yet who does. But we can identify with smaller clients and their smaller budgets, and that helps us focus on the right stuff to make a big impact on their businesses.
Mass direct mail is played out, so we used some PHP trickery that helped Mattocks implement personalized URLs – PURLS as we call ’em – web pages that had been customized for each potential client. On top of that we made sure Mattocks got a text message the very second someone hit their page so they could follow up by phone right then and there. A little scary if you think about it.
Sometimes less is more. Mattocks Consulting works with non-profits in financial distress, so the brand needed to be simple & smart. It needed to say “we’re financially responsible.” We recognized that and came up with a design to send that message.
