CARMEL-July 22, 2009. Westlake Design, Inc. an interactive design and development firm, has successfully launched a restructured and redesigned employee training website for Tire Barn located at www.training.tirebarnusa.com
Westlake Design worked extensively with managers and marketing staff at Tire Barn to design, develop, test, and launch the site within six months. Over 300 employees working at over 30 Tire Barn locations will be granted access to the new training site.
The website contains interactive training modules, instructional videos and performance-based quizzes for various job descriptions within the organization, such as sales, tire technician, and crew chief. The site tracks the progress of every employee and allows supervisors to quickly and easily review progress and assign new training as needed. Company news, promotions, and internal documents are also housed within the site and may be viewed by all 35 of Tire Barn’s locations. Over time, Tire Barn will be able to easily make changes and update training through an extensive content management system, saving time and expense.
